Summary:

The technical assistant is responsible for …

Responsibilities:

  • 1st level support to technicians on technical matters
  • Develop and execute test plans for new firmware, collect and interpret data, and document results
  • Assist with development of training documentation, processes and procedures.
  • Assist with development of operational signage
  • Assist with set up and monitoring of beta test sites
  • Improve serviceability of products (make recommendations)

Requirements:

  • 1 year experience in a technical role (an asset)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fondness for technology, how it works, how to make it better
  • Proficiency with Word and Excel
  • Able to work on different tasks that are assigned by management
  • Able to work under minimal supervision
  • Post secondary education (College or University undergraduate degree/diploma)
