Learn how our ozone laundry systems are an efficient, economical technology that can transform your enterprise’s relationship with the environment.

In high-volume laundry applications, cost is measured by more than the price tag on your equipment. Labour, water consumption, and wear and tear on your linens all factor into your long-term costs, and all are affected by the quality and efficiency of your system.

Today we’re discussing ozone technology in the EcoTex Advanced Laundry Oxidation System: how it works, what it means for your bottom line, and why it’s a smart choice for your business and the people you serve.

Save on the Things That Cost You More

Designed specifically for commercial laundry applications, EcoTex enhances the performance of chemicals and shortens the traditional wash cycle. Using cold water instead of hot, a typical laundry facility can generate cost saving to achieve full ROI within 9 to 18 months.

EcoTex reduces energy consumption and extends the usable life of your linens by as much as 20%. More efficient cleaning also means wash cycles can be shorter, which cuts water and electricity use, shortens cycle times, and frees up personnel for other tasks.

The Ozone Difference

With oxidizing power 3,000 times more effective than chlorine, ozone is the most powerful, commercially available oxidizer and disinfectant that’s also safe to use in water treatment.

How does it work?

The EcoTex system converts air into 90% pure oxygen which is then electrically charged to split the oxygen atoms which reassemble to form ozone. Ozone destroys bacteria much faster than chlorine beach or hot water. By injecting ozone continuously throughout the wash cycle, harmful bacteria, viruses and superbugs are eliminated. Fibres are lifted resulting in softer feel and prolonger linen life. These atoms revert back to oxygen once the wash cycle is completed.

Other Considerations

Will I have to overhaul my facility to install an EcoTex system?

No. Engineered specifically for the laundry industry, EcoTex can be integrated into new or existing laundry systems. EcoTex systems don’t require any extra plumbing or water lines. You’ll save on equipment space and maintenance costs, and installation is easy.
